Whilst there are many organisation representing Amateur Theatre, some have grown away from the grass-roots support of its members. There is also a large section of Amateur/Community theatre which is not adequately represented at present.

ACT UK	Marketplace
Act UK (Association of Community Theatre, UK) has been set up to offer you and your society what you want and need. We are here to help and offer advice where necessary. It is a mutual aid grouping of like minded societies, run by its members for its members	So many societies, especially dramatic societies, have properties and furniture which, for a small donation, they are able to lend to other local groups. We will be setting up a notice-board for you to advertise your society's wants and needs.
