Lowton Operatic & Dramatic Society About Lowton Operatic and Dramatic Society (L.O.A.D.S.) was founded in 1963. We are an amateur society affiliated with A.C.T We are a group of enthusiastic performers who enjoy acting, singing and dancing. We stage a pantomime every year, and a yearly musical show or play in the summer. We rehearse Wednesday and Thursday evenings at the Leigh Rugby Union Football Club. Along with rehearsing and staging shows we also arrange social events, fund raising activities, prepare and create our own scenery and costumes and organise drama workshops.
